Pediatric and strabismus
- Squint (strabismus) is misalignment of the eyes that usually occur in young age. It usually happens secondary to error of refraction. In some cases just correction of the error (hyperopia) may result in correction of the problem, if not corrected we must align the eyes with surgery to avoid deterioration of the problem.
- If there is no error of refraction of the eyes are divergent, we must proceed directly to surgery.
